Olney Model Railway Club’s web site olneymrc.org.uk is a site and a club for people who want to improve their knowledge of equipment and modelling technique and who would like to join a club of like minded people within the Milton Keynes, South Northants and North West Bedfordshire area.
There you will find information on their News and Events, Club Nights, Club History, Exhibitions and Projects. One such project, The Olney Station Project, we have pictures of and which you can view by clicking on the two links below.

History:

The club, founded on the 25th February 1993, is small and friendly and currently has a membership of 23.
New members of any level of skill and experience, from beginners to experts, are always welcome and can assist in building the layouts, or run their own trains on a much larger track than most people have available at home.
The club is affiliated to the CMRA - the Chiltern Model Railway Association. For their Home Page, click the link.

Contents and Layout Guide:

Their site is divided into ten sections, with navigation bars at the top and bottom of each page.
Two N gauge articles on the Project Progress Page has been added, one called "Market Cross", the other an American marshalling yard (on hold at the moment). We have also finished an OO gauge layout using DCC, which helped the club gain experience with the wiring and different controllers, details are also on the Project Progress Page.
Their is also an article called "Electrics and Model Railways" and is a beginner's guide to wiring a model railway.
A further section called Olney Station Project has been included on the website. Additions to the page will take place as the project takes shape. An in depth article on the history of the Northampton to Bedford Railway, is also available to browse.
A further article has been added, describing a special passenger train journey along the line in the summer of 1951.
Various Exhibition photographs are also available to view covering the last several years.
The latest photographs showing the progress of the Olney Station Project are updated frequently.
